i have a '18 skooter with 150 hp mercury 2 stroke. it seems like when i am about to take off in about 2 feet of water if i give some gas it bogs down and turns off. but when i'm in deep enough water 2 and half or more i can take off in a jump. not sure if i need to adjust the throttle. if anyone has any suggestions on things for me to check. i usually have to sputter to deep enough water and i'm fine.
