Hi all. I came across this little motor on c-list today. I'm not so much interested in the engine, but I've never seen the little black, plastic, bolt-on gas tank. Is this a factory item, or a homemade gizmo? Thanks.
It's a factory option. Instead of the tank on top (since it has a fuel pump anyway), they made a 'saddle' tank for 'em. Nice for duck hunting, etc where you don't need a separate larger fuel supply.
I have 2 of these motors/tanks the tank is made for this model specific, as the motor has a wire cradle and mount for the tank to clip in and be tightened.
