Bolts to mount engine to stand?

Getting ready to pull 4.3 engine out of Bayliner...anyone have recommendation of and knowledge of what size bolts I need to pick up for mounting the engine to the stand?

They are 3/8-16 thread. You have to measure your stand to get the length.

Thank you much Don...As I understand it, they should be about 1 inch longer than the mounts on the stand. Is that about correct?

Check your engine block. If you only have 3/4" of threads, 1" longer isn't going to work.

Measure the length of the stand off on the stand, and then add the length of the original bolt thread to come up with the length you need. Stand off lengths/ depths vary quite a bit

Ayuh,.... They sure Do,....

I've got 1 that'll clear a motor coupler, 'n another that'll barely clear a flywheel alone...
