"BONDO" Brand Resin

Hello,

Anyone know anything about "Bondo" brand Resin. Is it non blushing? Autozone carries it readily and the website says its 34.99 a gallon! Which is a great price if thats accurate. I ordered 6 gallons of resin from Aero Marine, but I just figured if I needed to grab some real quick this might work.

it is uasually a "waxed" resin....

if used in a laminating situation you will need to grind the wax off it berfore the next layer.

and five gallons at 34.99 is expencive....

you can get a 5 gallon pail of un waxed boat resin for 100 bux.....

not to hijack.. but the next obvious question is
where can I get a good poly resin 5 gal for $100?

if I knew-- I would switch to using the non waxed stuff rather than the generic crap I bought at the big orange box...

Jrousell, try Advaced Plastics. You will have to call to get a price. I have been getting vinyl ester(which is more than poly) for $125 for 5 gallons with hardner. Dont quote me, but I think poly was 70 or 80 for 5 gallons.
