Re: Bondo Torque Shift Qestion
Ayuh,.............

My primary Prop I dialed into what I wanted it to do 4 or 5 years ago,...............

I've had it Off,+ Apart a Couple times since then for a Cleaning,+ Inspection,....... And Blade Repairs,......

I Slathered on a coating of the grease at hand,+ reassembled it,.......Never-Sieze the last time I Think,...
I pull it off the boat annually,.... But don't normally tear it down,.......
This year I probably will,.. As I bought the place On the pond,+ Dock it rather than Trailer it........

According to Everybody Esle,.... Greasing it is a No-No,.... In Sandy bottomed boating,... I can see where running it dry would be Better,...... It pretty much moves on plastic bushings,+ grease would Hold the Sand,.......That would be Bad,......

My boating is Rarely Sandy,...Occaisionally Muddy,.....Usually,.. Solid Limestone.......
I get Alot of the Lime/Calcium type of build up,+ When I Touch Realestate,.... Things Break........

So,......... In Your Case,.........
I'd just Clean the bearing surfaces More Often,+ Run it Dry................

BTW,........
You can use the Edit button at the top of Your posts to fix the posting,... Rather than posting another Thread,........
And,......... If your a "Back-Button" person,.... The Refresh Button is Your Friend..........
