Hello all I've just bought my first boat, a used 1998 monterey 180 bowrider. My problem is I find it difficult to see through the windshield when I am seated. I am 6'2" so thats not the problem. I can tell that the previous owner had the same problem cause the seam is comming apart on the seat back where he must have been sitting, which is also where I find myself sitting. I was just wondering if some type of booster seat is available

Re: booster seat

As an aside to the previous post, is it possible to re-sew the seams that are comming apart?

Re: booster seat

Same problem here, there are replacement chairs that have a flip up booster but my problem is I don't want to spend the $450 for it. A few weekends ago I happen to have a sleeping bag in the boat that was temporarily recruited for the job until I find something or decide to make some type of booster seat. And I have looked quite a bit on the web and at the local boating shops, so it is probably going to come down to making something to fit the seat.
