bore out 35 hp evinrude

I am going to bore out my 1976 35 hp evinrude model 35602S to .030 over. Install new pistons and rings. Is there anything else i have to do such as modify of change the carb or anything of that matter? Also will the original connecting rods work with the oversized pistons?

Nothing to change for a 0.030 bore out. Of course you will be replacing the pistons, wrist pins, and wrist pin bearings?

ya i will be replacing wrist pins, bearings, and pistons. i got the manual on order so it should have the ring gaps, torques, and everything. but is there anything i need to know in advance that might not be in the manual, any little tricks or anything that might help in the reassembly? and thanks for the info by the way.
