Does anyone know what the difference between the BU8H and a BUZH8 (NGK)? I contacted a local dealer and the second one was the number he gave me with a price tag of 159.95 per plug.
I am having a running problem. I rebuilt the fuel pump because it was dieing while it sat and idled and didn't have enough power to pull the boat onto the trailer. After rebuilding the pump it seemed to have the power but it started missing. I didn't know when the last time the plugs were changed so I changed them. Wasn't able to get Bosch or NGKs (on Sunday) so I got Champion plugs, replaced them with. It ran better for a while, had the power and wasn't dieing in idle and it wasn't bogging out at the trailer. Then it began to be hard to start (first thing), then it began having to be throttled up to start after sitting for awhile. I pulled the plugs an it appeared that the lower two plugs were an oily black. Should I take it in for a diagnostics? I am getting the new BU8H NGK plugs today but I don't know if it will fix the problem or not. Hope I given youo enough info.
