Re: boston whaler

There is really not much way to dry a whaler. Go to the site continuouswave dot com and search "chainsaw whaler" There was a waterlogged one some whaler buffs cut with a chainsaw to investigate the foam. There was also another used as mail box post in Alaska that has been drying for YEARS. They weighed and track the weight losss over years.

Re: boston whaler

I would think about cutting the seam apart, get rid of the old foam and re-do it, only because whalers hold value.
Maybe ask the factory....or try the whaler owners website.

You might also try http://whalercentral.com/Boston_Whaler.php. Use the search function to check out the forums. Might have to join for certain features, but that shouldn't be one of them. Most either put up with a wet whaler, or redo the foam. I haven't spoken to anyone who has a real good method for drying foam in a whaler.
