bottom painted! woo hoo!

what an excellent weekend! after 4 days of rain we got three days of sun! sanded and antifoul painted my outdrive on saturday and instead of coloring easter eggs on sunday i colored the bottom of my boat instead! pardon my excitement but its the first time im doing a "spring commissioning" or "summerization". besides the fact that i still have green hair on half my head, she came out nice!

I hate to be a party-pooper, but aren't you supposed to stop the paint 1" from the outdrive?

previous owner had EVERYTHING painted with black bottom paint. so bottom paint has been touching that gimbal housing for the life of the boat. i just sprayed the housing first with outdrive paint. shes got no corrosion anywhere and shes 16 yrs old.
