Bottom Wash Question

I keep my fiberglass boat in a fresh water lake all sumer here in northern NJ. Normally, by the end of the season, the hull turns a deep brown but I have the bottom pressure washed when it comes out of the water for the year and the stains always come off completely.

After last season I did not have the chance to wash the bottom. So, it's been sitting since November with the rust(?) stains unaddressed. Does anybody know if waiting until now to do my annual pressure wash is going to be an issue? I just now read that freshwater stains should be removed before they have a chance to dry.

Anyone with some experience or authority on this... would greatly appreciate your input.

Re: Bottom Wash Question

You'll be doing More Scrubbing,..... Than Blasting.........

That Scum is right up there with Concrete, for it's Sticking Power.......
Kinda like that Dried out Egg, left on a plate in the Sink for a Week.......
Difference Is,....
It Doesn't Soften with water.......
