about the oil mixture. The guy I bought it from is an outboard mechanic, and he
disconnected the oil mixture tank from it. He recommends mixing standard 50:1
in the gas tank. I am in agreement with this, as I towed a boat a couple miles last
month with a '95 Johnson that froze up. Suspect maybe oil mixture stopped.
Anyway, my new motor is now a jet drive. I have read that the factory auto mixture uses
a ratio anywhere from 50:1 to 150:1,depending on the rpms of the motor, so I was wondering if maybe manual mixture
in the gas tank should be slightly higher than 50:1. Any thoughts? Stay with 50:1?
