Re: Bought a land boat
What a waste of my day!!!

I call the seller this morning, he tells me that last night he sideswiped a guardrail with the car, I can have it for 2500 as is. Hey, Im in the Auto Body busness, I can fix it right?.... NOT

I go all the way to Wells Maine to see it, an hour and a half drive. The condition of the car before this accident was MINT it was the best looking old caddy I've ever seen, looked better in person then in the picts, no rust anywhere!

BUT....
This ******* was coming home at 5 in the morning from doing God knows what, it looks like he drove off the road doing about 80 mph into a muddy field, there was mud all over the car, he was spinning the tires in the mud, the passenger door is pushed in, needs to be replaced, rear quarter is a mess, needs to be cut out and welded, the frame needs to be bent back, front and rear bumpers need to be replaced, both tires/rims/hubcaps on the passenger side are junk.
It's got about 6 thousand in damage if you where to pay a good body shop to do it. Being so old I'm sure the insurance company will total it.

The guy lied to me, he told me it happened last night, but I was told its been sitting smashed for three days. He wasted my WHOLE day, he wouldn't even show up, and its a good thing he didn't because I would have ripped his freaken adams apple out!!!! Its a crying shame too, the car really was mint before he ruined it. It happend three days ago, he never took it off auction or even told any of the bidders that he smashed it up

He must have been drunk or high when it happened, because no one in there right mind would do this to a car, it looks like he was spinning his tires in a ditch for a half hour.

Oh well..... :-(
