I bought an old motor guide trolling motor last night. It is a bow mount, white, with alum prop. Looks to be 25 to 30 years old. It says "FIII" on the side of the top part, by the "motor guide" insignia.

Hope to find out what thrust it is.

Also, does anyone know if a typical plastic prop will work on this?

As always, thanks for answering!

Have no idea what thrust it is but it is really of no consequence. Install it and try it. If it is enough -- that's great. If not -- not so good. Props for trolling motors are no different than props for a gas engine. They must work with the application. It must first fit the motor. It must then be the correct diameter and pitch for the available power.
