bought a new prop with out a hub. bought the hub kit to go with it. Any body have any experience with the flo torq II exchangeable hub system. I got the kit for a 25 hp suzuki. It just dosen't seem to strong, the splines are much shorter than the my old prop. I like the concept.

Merc uses it on their 250HP outboards....I don't think you'll have any problems...

Re: bought new prop, question

Thanks moderator1. Have you ever purchased one. Directions say side urethane cushion hub into propeller hub cavity, firmly press, or gently tap urethane cushion hub to secure component in propeller hub cavity. Now, this urethane cushion is rounded on one end and flat on the other end. When incerting the rounded end in propller it slides in very easy, then of course can fall out easy. Turn it around and its very tight and wont go in the hub but a 1/4 inch. The picture shows the rounded end going in first, but when I do it that way there is nothing to secure it in the hub. Perhaps it doesn't matter because when it is assembled nothing going to move anyway. What do you think. Am I making a the job harder than it actually is?
