i have a 3.0 mercruiser 1992, bought the exhaust manifold, to make the story short can't return, carb is a merc carb, and it won't fit the holes as this manifold is for a rochester carb. Does anybody sell an adapter? or any suggestions don't want to spend a fortune on a carb I just had the merc carb rebuilt prior to the manifold go out! is the hole pattern on a merc carb the same as a holley 2 barrel.

I just went through the same thing. My bolt hole spacing on my carb was 3/8'' of an inch shorter than the bolt hole spacing on the manifold. I welded the 2 holes closed on the manifold where one end of the carb would sit and used my carbs gasket to center punch for drilling and tapping.

I used a die grinder on the base of the carb, just in one of the bolt holes to oblong it for the two bolt holes i had left untouched on the manifold. Worked like a charm.
