I am looking for a way to repair the bow eyelet area of my tri hull. It is starting to pull itself thru the fiberglass. Any one else have problems with this?

You need a backing plate inside the hull.

Agreed on backing plate, but it could already have one...is there any structural damage to the fiberglass? Why is it pulling through? Some pics would help.

EDIT: This is probably more of a "boat repair" than "trailering" thread.

It's probably got a wood backing plate or V block that's rotted away, it's time to go inside the boat, remove the old bow eye, and replace the bow eye backing either with new wood or a piece of metal.
