Bow Keel stop suggestions.

Not sure exactly what this part of the trailer is called but I think it needs fixin.

I was thinking on upgrading to baby bunks. Do you guys think this is necessary? The keel near this stop is getting scraped up. I don't beach, EVER!

I know the keel rubs the axles since there are rust spots from the paint being scraped away during retrieving. So Keel pads are going in on the axles.

What can I do about the keel stop pictured. It doesn't look very good.

I would replace it with a self centering keel roller. They are available right here on I boats. I'm sorry I would provide a link for you but that's a little trickier since I'm on my blackberry right now.

You can replace it with a keel roller or a set of front bunks. One of my trailers has that same assembly (there should be PVC pipe guides sticking out of the sides, forming a Y), they are very common.

I like the front bunk idea. I've seen them before and really like it.

I have a roller for my boat, and it makes it easier for loading I would definatly go that route
