The bottom busted out of my bow light so i need a replacement. Any suggestions on a good replacement? I use the short 9 inch bow light. And would it be 2 pin or a 3 pin?

Boat is an 06Nitro 929 CDX

May need a picture or three on this question... Usually a typical two wire setup (positive and ground) is all it should take. But not knowing what you are dealing with could change that answer. JMHO

Looks like it takes the two plug pole type light. So a power and ground should be all it need to work.

I used one like this;

I get my new 2 pole light in today. So of course I go to take the old one off and then I have another issue. Why the big piece in the front has two wires coming out of it and the part where the light plugs in has three.

Any thoughts??!!

How would I wire up the new light and what wires do I cut and do away with?

Or do I in fact need a 3 pole light socket instead of the two pole?
