Re: Bow Light Hardware
Hey Bob
I did a little investigating....... The bow light sockets for our MFGs were made by a company called Leecraft. Here is a link to some of their products

Hope this helps
Well Damn!

That link took me to the exact part I need, but it's too late. I gave up looking for the part and went out and got the miscellaneous parts needed to make my own.
If anyone wants to avoid buying an installation ready part and invest way too much time and money making your own (GRRR!), this is how I did it.
Here are the parts: 22 gauge steel, tin snips, bayonet double contact socket, bulb (the one I got is WAY too big), and cyanoacrylate adhesive (super glue).
I flattened out the sheet metal part of the old attachment assembly and traced it on the new sheet metal. I then cut it out, drilled a hole for the wires, and bent it up to match the original.
I glued it to the assembly because I didn't want to melt any interior parts with the soldering iron. Here's the final product (less bulb) compared to the original.
I'll paint the steel part to stave off corrosion as long as possible. Hindsight being as accurate as we all know it is I should have waited and saved some money and time. I mean GEEZ, I still need to find the right bulb...more $$$...UGH! But hey, I did get to buy some new tin snips!
