bow riseing

i have a 16ft fishing boat with a 60hp when i move forward the bow rides very high even at full power it will not straigten and come on the plane.......... thanks

usually moving weight forward will bring the bow down.The motor may be trimmed out too far.Have you tried adjusting the tilt setting on the engine?

Do you know your speed and RPMs when you are at full power?​

First and formost, does the motor have power trim/tilt, or manual? If manual, what hole is it set at?

sounds like the engine is tilted to far out. all the way in usually pushes the bow down, and the boat plows.

Trim it in one hole at a time till you find the best setting. As previously said the motor is most likely trimmed too far out causing the bow rise.

a relatively inexpensive set os Nauticus Smart Tabs will definetly bring your bow down and assist you with any listing issues you might have. They are sold by HP rating and are easy to install. They work on the same principle as Trim Tabs but are Gas Cylinder actuated vice hydraulic. The beauty here is once you install them and figure out the best adjustment setting you forget they are there. I put them on my boat last year to correct a port list and help keep the bow down and brother I'm sold on them. Available on the web or at your local BoatUS/West Marine store. Your size shouldn't be more than $150.00

Or you could try trimming the motor first and save a possible $150:00 by the sounds of it.
