Braided outboard fuel lines?

Anyone make the standard Mercury Outboard fuel lines with a braided fuel hose on them? My dads pontoon keeps eating fuel lines when the motor is put all the way up so it is out of the water. Guess we could make one, but if there is a commercially available one I would just buy him one.

A braided line sounds like a bandaid to a far bigger issue... Big question is why does it eat them? Fix that first.

I was thinking exactly the same thing. First figure out exactly what's damaging the fuel line. After that you've got several options depending on the situation, one would be reroute the fuel line and hold it in place with Adel clamps. Post some photos of what you find, surely one of the experts here will be able to offer good advice.

They get pinched over between the motor and the carrier that holds the fuel tank if the motor is all the way up and not turned the correct direction We've tried shorter/longer, zip tying the line up to the pontoon rail - where the hookup is to the fuel tank just doesn't allow a good solution.

If the line wasn't made out of the mush that they make those lines out of then there wouldn't be a problem because it wouldn't want to create a hard kink.
