this is my brother in laws boat and i am trying to help him out...he just payed 4200$ staight out of the crateffor a 325 hp mag including labor...it was the long block...sounds awesome in the driveway not under a load but when we get it out on the river it cuts out bad...i am thinking that he needs to change the fuel filter ad put a high flow pump on it....because he just used his existing pump he had on what turned out to be a van motor, desquised as a jasper rebuild....long story short he was lied to by the previous owner.....long story short he has alot of money in this factory crate motor from merc and can get it to run under a load....does this sound like the sollution that he needs because he is about to pull his hair out and the guy that put the motor in will not return his phone calls....any help would be greatly appreciated...i an trying to take him out of his misery.....thanks guys
