I tried everything according to the manual. There is a blinking red light that goes off when pulling starter rope. In the manual it said something about oil pressure. I over filled the oil a bit when I put it in but had sucked that out. Going nuts can anyone help?

I did everything it said in the manual and it just won't turn over. It has a blinking red light when pulling the pull cord, in the manual it says it's for low oil pressure. I over filled the oil a bit when I put it in but I sucked out the excess. I hope someone can help.

Your dealer will fix it under warranty.----Or show you how to run / operate the motor.-----What motor did you have before this one.-----You did buy from your local dealer I hope.------Most dealers will take the time to show a novice the ins / out of boat motors.

I bought the same one last spring, and had some issues to start, especially when warm.
Cold start, prime bulb, kill switch up / on. Full choke and couple pulls to start. Oil light should go out shortly after it starts. Needs full choke for a bit to warm it up.
If it doesn't start after 2 pulls then use the push button to bypass forward and turn throttle full. Try starting again. RPMs are going to take off so be ready to throttle down .
Also the carb has an accelerator pump so every time to advance the throttle with the motor off it will dump fuel in the carb. Easy to flood.

put it in forward to give it gas the button would pop back out. Am I doing something wrong?
