Just purchased a brand new mercury jet and got it mounted. I followed the instruction on the owners manual to get everything set up (oil,grease,fuel,and battery hookup) then when I toke my boat and launched it it fired right up and ran well but when I put it into drive or reverse it won't go anywhere its like the pump isn't pumping all the way or something. It's pumping water out the pee hole fine but it just won't go anywhere. Anyone have an idea of what the problem could be?
