The knuckle head I bought my boat off of had brass locknuts on the outdrive bellhousing.I already know not to use anything but stainless but he claims that his marine mechanic took care of that .Anybody ever hear of this.I am about to replace them with stainless.Just wanted to be sure I was not missing something.
