bravo 1 skeg

I recently completed a refurbishing project on my 1990 bravo 1 drive. One question I have is when I installed the skeg guard on her, I noticed that on the rear portion of the guard that it extended out past the back of the drive a bit. Is this going to cause any type of a problem?

That looks like you may have the wrong skeg guard. Only way to tell is to put the propeller on, but my $5 is bet against it being OK.

Well I put the prop on and it clears that portion of the skeg by about 3/4".
