bravo 3 exhaust tube grounding clip?

Why does it say to position the clip at 1 o'clock?? Why does it matter where it is as long as it's there?

The hose clamps have to be installed EXACTLY how the manual shows OR they will poke a hole in something


I would think they want the clip there so the clamp contacts it correctly to get a good ground and NOT start and galvanic stuff
