The second one went much quicker (naturally). The shifter mechanism was a bit rusty, but it cleaned up fine.



Here is the almighty cone clutch . . .



Hopefully, this will work out. The drives are 24 years old, but it seems that the port outdrive has had some work done at some point during its life.

I’ve only had the boat out once, but shifting gears is much more pronounced. Hopefully, that will be the case going forward.
