Bravo 3 ?

I recently upgraded from bravo one to bravo three. I had somebody tell me that there is an impeller in the lower part of the unit on the bravo threes is that true?

The B1 and B3 are functionally the same when it comes to the cooling system. If a mechanic said that I would not take any advice from him.

Bravos use an engine mounted impeller pump typically found on the lower starboard side (of boat) of the engine.

Yeah that's kind what I thought. Here's the update today I burnt through two impellers and was wondering why I was going through them so fast I decided to pull the outdrive and I found my exhaust flappers laying there by the outdrive and chunks of my impeller of course I took the outdrive off and found out that my water was not getting from the outdrive to the bell housing is there something inside of the outdrive that I have to check ? Should I separate the two halves and look into it?

When I had the outdrive on the stand I hooked the hose up to it and the water was not coming out by the driveshaft.
