Bravo Hinge Pin Removal

I'm having trouble getting the port side hinge pin loose on my 1999 Bravo 3.

I've read numerous previous posts that recommend heat to 1) break the bond of the loctite (+350 F) and 2) to heat the aluminum housing so that it expands greater than the Hinge Pin.

Corrosion doesn't appear to be the problem and I think I fighting the Loctite.

I quess I'm a little confused on were to apply the heat and worried about damging the water line and speedo cable if I apply heat to the underside of the bell housing.

If locktite is all that's holding it, heating the pin should do it. You don't have to turn it red or anything like that.
