My Mercruiser 5.7EFI water hose came off my fuel cooler and it is next to impossible to put back on without taking the engine out. I can't see a thing down there. Any suggestions that would help me not take the engine out would be appreciated.I couldn't even take a picture of what I'm trying to do.IMG_3032.jpg

Ayuh,... It's too bad yer boat builder hid the motor so badly,...

I believe the nipple is right there, just aft, 'n below, the motor mount in the picture,....

Either you can reach it,.... or ya can't....

It'll no doubt be wrenchin' by braille,... use a 5/16" nutdriver, insteada a screwdriver for the clamp...

This may give you some idea what you are feeling for.

You are putting the end on next to the drain plug from the looks of your picture.

I couldn't do it myself so i got a guy that layed over the engine with his head in the well and after many 4 letter words was able to get the hose connected and the clamp tightned. Took the boat out and it ran great with no leaks.
