I have a 26 Sea Ray 454 with a Bravo 1, 15x16 p prop tryed a 14x17 to. It gets to 3500 RPM's and cavatates, rpms go up and it drops down losses it bite in the water. What am I doing wrong, 14x19 did the same,14x17 w/cupped blades almost worked?
Sounds like you might be overtrimming but I think you should be able to turn a 21p cupped prop. Another cause could be something distrubing the water flow to the prop such has a transducer or poor trim tab placement.
