Hi - just wondering what the pros/cons of each method are?
Im familiar with the plug method - done it many times with alphas with perfect results - considering the plate method for bravos -
My concern with the plate method is the pinch nut holding the steering arm on the pin - with the plate method I guess one can get a torch on it- but I have found them to be near impossible to remove otherwise in extreme situations where salt water has dripped on there for a few years-
With the plug method one can at least cut one hole a touch lower to accommodate a thin wall socket on an impact - the plate method probably has the advantage of being able to get a torch in though -
anyone got some light to shed on the 2 methods?
