Does anyone know if there is a dirrerence between a 1992 and a 1993 bravo two outdrive. When I bought my boat (new to me 1993 rinker 350/bravo 2) The previous owner had ever single manual even down to the type of cabin lights installed. He also had a clymers manual for the mercrusier stern drive but it was for 1986-1992. I was told there was no difference in the 2 models. Anyone here know for sure?

A Clymers manual is good for one thing only. And that is a knee pad.
If you want a real manual, go up to the adults only sticky (first post in this forum) and download the OEM service manual for your drive. #11 is the one you want.

Thank you don....I take it your not a clymer fan. Since I am new to this, and after reading the clymer manual i was thinking I had the skills to take my drive off and replace the bellows myself....guess I will download number 11 and see if i feel the same way. The clymer manual seems really step by step...can you tell me why you dont like it. You seem like you know your stuff and I am wanting to learn.

Would be glad to tell you.
First, way too many mistakes, second, they condense things from the OEM manual. Usually missing the important stuff. Third, the OEM manual uses about the same number of pages for a Bravo outdrive, as the Clymers does for not only the drives, but all the different years of engines used. Wonder what they left out.
Oh, and don't forget all the mistakes. And there are many.
Download the OEM manual. 600 pages of nothing but Bravo outdrive information.
