They just put a pair on an SR1 with modded 454's a few weeks ago.


Curious - the SEI drives are all Alpha replacements. I didn't think anyone recommended putting an Alpha behind a big block, especially a modified one?

I don't know, I was there hanging out when they were working on it. I'll see what I can find out.

Apparently Merc mated big blocks with Alpah drives prior to the Bravo drives. They had a couple different ratios but neither were bullet proof.

Maybe that's why this Formula(1985 272 SR1) got new drives :)
