I bought a 2005 50hp ELPTO outboard. The seller suggested that I run extra oil in the gas (double the normal oil) for the first tank. The manual said the same thing.<br /><br />Question: The engine runs great at start-up if I clean the plug off before I go. The engine runs great at full throttle. If I troll for a while it might stall. At low RPM, it dies sometimes. My question... is this normal. When the original tank of gas runs out, will this stop??
