Bringing Back the Shine to Fiberglass

Hi, all - I've been cleaning up a new-to-me Pro line 21 WA. Gave it a thorough washing with a mix of laundry detergent and Clorox Outdoor, and am now in the process of using Soft Scrub and orbital buffer to complete the cleaning. The Soft Scrub/buffer combo does a nice job, btw.

So now what? Frankly, I'm getting a little tired and looking for a lazy man's solution to bringing back the shine, if there is such a thing :)

1. Does anyone have first-hand experience with "restorer" products like Poli-Glo?
2. Do I need to simply bite the bullet and apply/buff out a few coats of wax (like Meguiars)?
3. Any other suggestions or success stories out there?

To do it right just keep going. It is time consuming and there are not any shortcuts...... unless you hire someone to do it.

Keep buffing then wax.

I know I will get jumped on for this, here is my story.
88 stingray really dull gel coat tried wet sanding compounds etc with minimal results. Came to a conclusion that gel coat is shot. I got a tip from an old commercial skipper and I rubbed the sides of my boat with a light coating of gear oil and buff it in till its not oily to touch. I get compliments every week have to recoat every 3-4 weeks.

no rainbows in the water either.
That is how I keep my shine.
