Broke steel bit and dropped in hull of aluminum boat, will it corrode?

Hi all I have a question, while installing my floor in my crestliner, I broke a couple carbon steel bits that fell into the hull of the boat. Not sure if they went all the way to the metal or hung up on new foam boards I put in. I got rid of all spray in insulation so it will drain well. Should I be concerned with galvanic corrosion occurring, or will there be enough of a loose contact that just the bits themselves will corrode? Thanks for any advice!

I wouldn’t worry about it. If you check the galvanic scale aluminum and steel are almost next to each other, so there isn’t a whole lot of interaction between the two.

Naw,.... The steel will rust away, all by itself,....

Awesome, thanks for the peace of mind. I should have learned not to use cheap bits for my rivet holes, lol.
