Broken crankshaft seal rings on 89 Looper 225

I just pulled my 225 apart to rebuild and found that the one of the crankshaft seal rings is missing and the race is rounded over from wear. Can this be fixed or is the block junk.

I think it's time to start looking for a new block.

I would go ahead and upgrade to a mid 90s or later model optical looper..they are great motors. I see them for around $2000 pretty regular.
