I gotta deal on an wisconson crusinart with a gm mercrusier straight 6 and outdrive. My local "DEALER" managed to get the hoses for the tilts and I found out that some
Genius capped the inlets and outlets with pipe threaded plugs.
. The trials I went through to clean the threads up by using a bottom tap allowed me to get secure leakproof (i hope) connections.
They say to bleed the system you should pull the rams out and remove the hose (s) from the aft and run the system until the stream runs constant . I was astonished to find that after significant time getting the hoses installed and filling the res. up that when I jammed the in/down the only oil I saw running was from the broken hose that comes from the pump and goes to I don't know where.
I've remove the res & hose, capped the body and cannot locate or see where a replacement hose would go. I've looked through-out this Forum and It seems that I'm the only one that doesn't know. Can anyone help this tired ol wrench out.
