Re: Broken window?

Friction. It's held in place by a rubber gasket pinched between a couple layers of aluminum (most likely) or plastic (possible) that keeps it in the channel but permits a little bit of movement to allow for expansion in heat and contraction in cold.

If you take the frame apart you might find a way to get the glass bits out, but most likely you'll need to replace some parts if you do that... the frames really aren't meant to come apart without replacing some things.

You can try to carefully dig the glass out with a narrow tool of some sort, but it'll be tricky, and so will getting the plexiglass in there.

Good luck.

Re: Broken window?

for my windsheild frame, it was held together by rivets at the four corners, I just drilled mine out straightend the frame and measure the lexan to fit, I'm just currently looking for new window rubbers to fit
