bronze inboard prop shaft

I have a inboard prop shaft I am wanting to sell
not know if its worth anything
made out of bronze
just under 40" , 1" dia
one end tapered w/key & threads
other straight w/ key

Yes, it is worth something. Do a little research on ebay to determine the price you should ask.

Sounds like a typical "straight inboard" prop shaft at 40" probably from a small runabout.wood boat.
You might look for a vintage Chriscraft forum. Contact a place like antique boats america
There are marine yards/dealers that are setup to create prop shafts like that.
They might buy a good used shaft. Years ago I had my used shaft cut down for a shorter setup.
