brovo trans removal

I have a 454 cuin engine with a brovo trans, are there any tricks to remove the engine from the trans? does it seperate at the flywheel/flex plate like an automatic trans or come apart like a manual trans? i've got to rebuild the 454...

1st you Remove the Outdrive,......<br /><br />Then the Engine seperates from the Inner Transom Plate at the 2 BIG Bolts just forward of the Transom.....<br />The Flywheel Cover Plate Stays with the Engine......(looks like a Bellhousing on a Car)

Or, he may have a TRS, with a tranny. Bravos don't have transmissions. They are a shifting outdrive.
