I'm the only one in the house that'll touch 'em. They're great. I like to steam the little ones, them slap them with some olive oil and salt. Oh, heck yeah.

My grand children would not eat them . This was about the time the movie E T came out. I suggested to them that they were really alien brains . They are in their early 30's now and still love them and still call them Alien Brains, joking of course ! I love them. brains or not.

We plant 4 plants every year and actually had our first harvest yesterday. They are fantastic! We just steam them and enjoy the natural flavors without any seasoning. Believe it or not my 18 month old twins LOVE them! They will eat the sprouts first and leave everything else on their plate alone!

They are on our table every other week, they are great with meat and potatoes. :)

So what is the deal with brussel sprout bashing, I only get them twice a year and this thanksgiving I was out voted, tradition or not, the whinning from the opposition (dad and brother), finally swayed the cooks vote "MOM"

Now I have had some questionable Brussel sprout's in my day, whether they be old and dryed out, or under cooked and hard as a hockey puck

BUT, you get the fresh new ones, cut the bottom tight to the bulb so they open up sort of when you steam them. Put butter, brown sugar a touch of mustard powder a salt and pepper in a pot and role them in when cooked MMMMMMM

People, they are just baby cabbages ;)
So give a brussel sprout a chance!
won't you??? :D

This is an easy one!
If you already know how to cook them all you need to find out is where to buy them and you are self-sufficient in the sprout department....:D:eek:

No problem here!
Next....;)
