OK I'm posting this brochure page for a new guy who just picked up what I consider the best looking boat Starcraft made back in the day. Hopefully he'll get his pics loaded sometime soon. I'd love to see this one get restored!!

We think it's a 63 Fiesta that's been painted over.

Re: Bryguymi's Boat

Hello and thanks North Beach for the information. After reading some of the very few posts on here about the Biscayne/Fiesta, i assumed that mine was a 1964. Now, knowing it may be a 1963 is very cool, as that's my birth year. :) I'll add pictures either tonight or tomorrow morning to share with others. And yes, it will be restored/rennovated. We've started the process already! Kinda funny, it's a cheap, simple little boat, but what fun so far. My other half and I are both excited about it. Especially not that it may by the same year as me.

It'll be a cool, good looking cuddy when your done. Welcome to the Starmada, glass division:)

You might want to read thru some of Don's helpful stuff over in the resto forum. Lots more glass work & rehab info there. But be sure to stop by this thread & let us know when you start your rehab thread @ the SC Owners group or the resto forums so we can ta along while you bring her back from the brink.........

North Beach, would I be correct assuming that the brochure you've attached here is a 1962? If that is a '62, I'm wondering if my boat is in fact a 1963, because the side windows on the boat in the picture are different than mine, as well as the side handrails. Your thoughts??? Bryan

Bryan, I think you nailed it on the model year. I missed the side window difference. So I think we should officially call it a 63 Fiesta!

That boat is friggin' SWEET! Can't wait to see it all fixed up. That Evinrude is awesome and I hope it can remain that hull's powerplant.

hey Bryan--

welcome to the inasanity. deciding to restore a glasser in that shape, you're at least as insane as the rest of us. but good on ya for saving her. get her looking good and you'll have people in modern $50K+ boats oohing and aahing at her.

IMG_5796.jpgIMG_5797.jpgIMG_5798.jpgIMG_5799.jpgHey ezmobee,

Yes, the Evinrude is going to stay with the Fiesta. I good friend of mine is going to completely revive/restore it for us. I've seen some of his work, and it'll look and run good as new, if not better.

IMG_5985.jpgIMG_5988.jpgIMG_5990.jpgIMG_5991.jpgIMG_5992.jpgHey guys, thanks to all for your comments, advice, thoughts, etc!!! Thought I'd give you an update, most likely the first of many, if you don't mind. :) The past couple days, we've torn right into the old girl, getting her ready for a major facelift. Here's some pictures of how she looks at day's end today. Bryan

Re: Bryguymi's Boat

and here's a couple more pics. Tomorrow, I'll build a motor stand (thanks to Don's helpful stuff ), so we can remove the motor from the boat. After that we'll remove the decking and benches/seats to get ready for all new. Wish me luck! :) BryanIMG_5994.jpgIMG_5995.jpgIMG_5998.jpgIMG_6002.jpg

Re: Bryguymi's Boat

Maybe you can get Ezmobee to move this to the restorations section so all those glass experts can start chiming in??
