Since I needed to be on a boat to install my home made bubbler on my piling pole I figured I would do it now since my Mako will be coming home this week.I took a fishtank pump and put it in a clear plastic retangular box a little smaller than a shoe box.I drilled a hole for the power cord and 2 holes for the air lines(there are 2 air outlets on the pump I bought) and screwed the box to the pole.I stapled the lines running down the pole about 2 feet under water.I put a clear piece of plastic over the front of it to keep weather out and ran the power cord along a rope from the pole to the bulkhead.I plugged it in and VIOLA it was bubbling up a storm.I am convinced it will work well.I will obviously wait until the weather is much colder for the results but I will post them .If it works ....not too bad for $14 total.Charlie

and as soon as that mako is winterized, you'll have a week long heat wave. :) reason why my boat doesn't come out until late december. if i don't need to break ice to get it out, it's too early...
