I agree with the last post, (from Capt. Ron). who suggests that I sell the motor now, not attempt to fix it.
Since I really don't know much about carbs, and/or changing coils on a boat motor I fear that I might just screw things up permanently!
So, agree, it's best to sell it as is.
Next question, is ebay the best place to do this or is there a place that better suited to selling a boat motor?
AND might one of you guys give me some suggestion as to what price I should ask for the motor?

Does Craigs List serve your area? Selling on Ebay is a hassel with all the fees, shipping, and scams.

Sure, I can list it on Craigslist, only problem with that is that I'm then limited to a rather small geographical area, but it's worth a try.
I thought maybe there was a site that dealt with mostly boats and motors that you guys knew about.

Post a for sale ad on the classifieds at www.aomci.org
If it sells there it will go to someone who appreciates old motors.
