All,

It's funny, in a strange sort of way, that a day out on the water will dehydrate one like nothing else. Especially here in the desert-10% humidity and all.

Water, water, water. A little G'ade helps too.

There is nothing worse that soft drinks (Coke, etc.) to pull the moisture out of your body.

if you think drinking and driving anything is acceptable you're just dead wrong... odds are you'll kill or seriously injure yourself or someone else... just immagine the phone call that your loved one has been killed by a DUI or BUI driver.... alchohol impares judgement, it's a proven fact... by the time you've "had a couple" it's too late...your impared... either have a designated driver or DON'T DRIVE! Enjoy your beer, but if you do it on a public waterway or roadway, expect to spend time in the greybar hotel... 0 tolerance...

Drinking of a big No No on my boat. And the kids all have to wear jackets all the time. 13 and 15.
I have see too much on the water to not be safe myself.

If you want to see a good case for the prohibition of alchohol on the water: jut visit your local ramp at about 6:00 pm when the beer drinkers come back in, and see all of the trouble they get in.
