My second season of boating and learned quickly you need shade for an all day trip in the water. Even in upstate NY!!
AND I can leave anything alone so.....
Starting building my own half tower. Quick round up is as follows:
all fasteners are hidden for a flush clean fit. Wiring will go through the tubing to an over head radio, offshore radio, and for some docking lights and speakers so I dont have to gun into boat gunwalls. It WILL be removable for storage if need be as boat is already pretty tall. Thinking of rod holders up there too. Top will be canvas that can be taken on and off. off for transporting so it does not act as a sail and for fireworks watching! Top will also be bowed upward for appearance and rain water to roll off. not much....just enough. More tubing in 3/4 will be added to clean it up looks wise and for additional bracing and "beauty" Not too bad for my first tower....
